The Foundation in collaboration with the Energy Committee of the Academy of Athens, has cosponsored the publication of the Proceedings of the Conference “Energy and Development Planning in Greece”. The conference took place on 30 October 2015 at the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens.

On the 5th of January 2016 the Foundation has installed a modern Meteorological station at a height of 1365 meters above sea level at Magouliana Peloponnese, the birth place of late Professor Mariolopoulos, founder of the MKF. At these high elevations there are only a few operational stations in Southeastern Europe.
