On the 24-27 May 2015 the Chemical Process and Energy Resources Institute, together with the Hellenic Institute of Transport, the Academy of Athens and the Mariolopoulos – Kanaginis Foundation for the Environmental Sciences coorganised the Global Conference on Global Warming – GCGW-15. The conference took place at the Academy of Athens and the Royal Olympic Hotel.
Lectures by distinguished speakers dealt with climate change and global warming providing technical information and new results on recent development in areas related to climate change, renewable energy resources with emphasis on solar and bioenergy, biofuels as well as sustainable mobility with new technologies on carbon sequestrations and more efficient use of fossil fuels and more efficient water and waste treatment.
