The Mariolopoulos – Kanaginis Foundation for the Environmental Sciences co-organized the 9th International Congress of Hydrology and the 4th MEM Workshop on Fissured Rocks Hydrology which was organized by the Hellenic Committee of Hydrogeology in collaboration with the Cyprus Association of Geologists and Mining Engineers. The Congress was held at Kalavrita NW Peloponnese on the 5-8 October 2011. The number of the manuscripts submitted to the Organizing Committee through-out 15 countries all over the world reflects the rapidly increasing interest that Hydrology gains nowadays worldwide. The Proceeding of the Congress were published by Springer Publication.
